Fear

I have a fear of water,

And I have a fear of night,

I have a fear of being wrong,

And a fear of being right.

I have a fear beside me,

And a fear overhead.

A fear unlikely,

And a fear unsaid.

I have a fear that eats me,

And a fear that bores,

I have a fear that stops me,

And a fear that knows.

This fear is fate

it’s what I have.

A fear so complete

it doesn’t hurt,

just eradicates

any hope or love.
